I’m weaving a table runner at the weavers’ hall in Aya Castle, Miyazaki, Japan. The couple shown manage the hall. They had warped the loom with linen prior to my arrival and provided the cotton warp. Pressing the completed weaving and trimming the fringe were other services they provided.
