NOW, New and Occasional Weavers Sunday, October 6, at 1pm; Topic: Use/Add Tabby

Many pattern books, like A Weaver’s Pattern Book by Davison have the notation, “Use/Add Tabby”, but the books don’t include instructions on why or how to do this. Maryann Olme will lead a NOW (New and Occasional Weavers) discussion about what this notation means and why it is needed in many weave structures such as Overshot and Summer & Winter. She will also provide tips on how to manipulate the two shuttles necessary for Use/Add Tabby. Bring your projects for show & tell afterwards.
